This resolution condemns a Chinese law, known as the Ethnic Unity and Progress Law, for institutionalizing coercive assimilation of ethnic and religious minorities. The resolution also calls on the President to consider related sanctions and urges the Department of State to work with allies to monitor and report on the impacts of the law.
