Rapid Expulsion of Migrant Offenders who Violate and Evade Act or the REMOVE Act
This bill requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to complete removal proceedings in immigration court not later than 15 days after commencement. Further, after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement files with an immigration court a notice to appear that has been served to an individual, DOJ must commence removal proceedings as promptly as possible.
